Sabine Valley Foundation Repair is now online

It's been a long time coming. After almost nine months of work with our web design team, and more back and forth than any of us expected, Sabine Valley Foundation Repair finally has its own home on the internet: www.sabinevalleyfoundationrepair.com.

For a company that spends its days thinking about foundations, it feels good to have one of our own online. Homeowners in Tyler, Longview and the towns around them can now call us at (903) 522-4592, send a request at any hour, and read up on their house before anyone comes out.

Brick home in East Texas

Nine months in the making

We went through more drafts than we'd like to admit. Page layouts, the wording on every guide, how the phone number looks on a small screen, whether the cost guide should show real prices at all. It does.

Every round of changes came back to the same question: would this help someone in Smith or Gregg County who just noticed a crack over the bedroom door? If it didn't, it went. The site is simpler for it, and we think it's a lot more useful.

What you can get help with

Whether it's a door that stopped latching or a floor that runs downhill to the kitchen, you can call or send a request and a local foundation specialist can come out to take a look. Here's the work we help with:

Where we work

Smith and Gregg counties. On the Smith County side that's Tyler and the towns around it: Whitehouse, Lindale, Bullard, Flint, Noonday and Chapel Hill. On the Gregg County side it's Longview, plus Kilgore, White Oak, Hallsville, Gladewater, Spring Hill, Pine Tree and Judson.

Just outside that map? Call and ask. It takes a minute to find out.

Read before you call

The part of the site we spent the most time on isn't the service pages. It's the expert guides: fourteen of them, written for someone standing in the hallway wondering whether that new crack over the door matters.

Most people start with price, so there's a guide to what foundation repair costs in East Texas, with typical ranges and the extras nobody mentions. If you're not sure anything is wrong yet, the signs that matter and the ones that don't is the better first read. And if you've wondered why houses here move at all, it comes down to East Texas clay, rain and long dry summers.

How to reach us

What this page will carry

Thanks for stopping by on day one. From here on, this news page is where we'll post the things that matter to a house around here. Dry spells and watering rules. Hard freezes. Permit changes in Tyler and Longview. New guides as they go up. If something is worth knowing before it shows up as a crack, it goes here.

And if you're reading this because a door started sticking last week, don't wait for the next post. Call (903) 522-4592.
